Richard F. Flickinger

Mr. Flickinger was born in Ligonier, and received his education in the Ligonier public school system. He graduated from Lafayette College, where he received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor.
 

After being admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, he entered military service, serving with the 199th Infantry Brigade of the United States Army in Vietnam, where his duties included that of brigade legal officer. After being promoted to captain, he served with the First Logistical Command.

Upon completion of his two year military tour, he associated with his father, Richard J. Flickinger, in the practice of law in Ligonier. He has been active in the Westmoreland Bar Association, serving on numerous committees, including co-chair of the Orphans' Court committee. In 1999-2000 he served as President of the nearly 500 member organization.


 

In addition to being licensed to practice before all Pennsylvania courts, Mr. Flickinger is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and other lower federal courts. He served for 22 years as solicitor for the Township of Ligonier. He continues to be active in the Westmoreland Bar Association and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

 

Active in many civic organizations, he has volunteered his time on numerous boards, including the Ligonier Valley School Board, Loyalhanna Watershed Association, former president of the  Ligonier Theatre, and former president and trustee of Fort Ligonier Association.  He also currently serves as solicitor for numerous local charitable organizations.

 

Mr. Flickinger and his wife, Roxana, reside in Ligonier. They have two sons: Allen, who heads a financial unit of Chevron, Inc. in San Ramon, CA, and Philip, who operates a marketing consultancy in the San Francisco Bay Area. They also have four granddaughters.

Del P. Nolfi III

Mr. Nolfi was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Norwin Senior High School in North Huntingdon in 2009. He attended Saint Vincent College, where he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Operation Excellence (Lean Management).  After graduating from Saint Vincent College, he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor.  

Mr. Nolfi passed the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in 2016 and is licensed to practice before all Pennsylvania courts.  Upon passing the bar exam, he began working as an associate of Mr. Flickinger’s.  

Like Mr. Flickinger, Mr. Nolfi has also been active in the Westmoreland Bar Association, serving on numerous committees, including the Orphans' Court committee and the Real Estate Law Committee.  He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. 

Mr. Nolfi and his wife, Cassandra, married in March 2018 and currently reside in Unity Township near Saint Vincent College, where they met. Cassandra is a Math Teacher at the Valley School of Ligonier.  They are expecting their first child in February 2021.
